Day Six, Let's Follow Some Dinosaurs and Go On a Rollar Coaster Just So We Can Get Off of it Again, and Maybe Let's Get Freezing Cold of the Water Ride We Decided to Go on in the Middle of January

So today is the day we went to a amusement park in China. It was especially fun that since Karleigh and I are typical teenagers, we love amusement parks!

Another interesting thing about China is the way they translate chinese into english. It turns out to be chinglish, where yes it is english, but it doesn't sound correct, because it is actually in chinese order and chinese grammar. So this "Keep Silent" sign is something we would not see in America. Instead I think we would see like "Quiet Please" or something similar (Actually, I'm not sure if we would even have a sign because it is assumed you would keep quiet out of respect). In the bathrooms of our hotels, we would see the sign "Beware of Slippery" or "Careful of Landslide." In the handicap bathrooms, they would put a sign that says "For the Cripples." I love chinese translations.

This Fangte amusement park was really fun. There were shows, rides, and interactive events that you can go to. There was this one roller coaster where we were all really excited to get on. But when we got on, we had to get off! Apparently, they had to do a test run, for safety i guess. After, when we got on, it was the worst roller coaster ever. It hurt our heads and neck, we felt like we got concussions! But we laughed about afterwards. We can't have a trip without any experiences!

Karleigh and I waiting for the ride that gave us head injuries (not really).

This is was an actual roller coaster we enjoyed. Excuse our screaming!

For our final ride of the day, we had the audacity to go on a water ride. So I wrongly assumed that, yes it was a water ride but I thought it was just going to be misty, and that would be it. Yes, it would be the middle of January, but carpe diem! Everyone around us had bought plastic rain ponchos. Though I still thought it was just gonna misty on us, we bought some just for safety (and peer pressure).

BOY, WERE WE WRONG ABOUT THE RIDE. "IT'LL BE ONLY MIST", I thought. "NOTHING WILL BE SOAKED AND WET", I thought. We were soaked from our legs and head! The rain poncho did nothing! It only covered our upper body and not our legs and butt! And the water slid down our clothes. Not only were we soaked by the end, the other kids who decided not to go on the ride shot water at us at the exit with the water guns down there. It wouldn't have been so bad it if it wasn't windy and in the middle of January!

After dinner, we went to KTV and sang karaoke! We did all the typical songs, Taylor Swift, Usher, Avril Lavigne, and What Does the Fox Say! And even some of this…..
WE STILL HAVE OUR DIGNITY, AND PROUD OF IT
Stay and read more about tomorrow!
