Day Four, You're About to Meet the Coolest Kids in China

So during our trip to Nanjing, Karleigh and I decided to flood our bathroom. Well, not on purpose but we totally didn't mean for it to happen! It was really funny at first, but then it got annoying when we actually needed to use it. When we go to breakfast that morning, some of the other kids told us that they blew a power socket in their room while they were charging their computer or something. I think we also made a spill during breakfast that morning…..So we totally destroyed their hotel…. We'll miss you Nanjing!

But anyways, we made our way to Wuhu. Our first stop was to the local high school, Wuhu No. 12 Middle School (High School). There, we met a lot of kids that were Karleigh and I's age. We conversed and had a cultural exchange event. They taught us games and songs, and vice versa.
(a sign, that welcomed us!)
That night, Karleigh and I had a family dinner with my family. We ate at a restaurant that was close to our hotel. It was called the Phoenix Diet Shopping Center. It was also our second dinner that night. We had cake, and my family had an interesting time conversing with Karleigh.

The next morning, we went off to the Wuhu Arts Center, where our group was lucky enough to try on costumes! We dressed in traditional old clothes in a story that heavily resembles Mulan. I was dressed as the main character, the female official that pretended to be male to receive the highest title. And Karleigh was my to-be wife.

After dinner, the kids of our group to decided to go out and see the night life. We went wondering and shopping at the central shopping center close by our hotel.

 We saw a monkey!

Though there are only just 10 Apple stores in China, there are a lot of fake Apple stores around, which I found really funny…Unfortunately, a lot of the stores mainly sold just intimate apparel, shoes, and clothes, we didn't really buy anything interesting (Karleigh and I did come back for some fries and McFlurries one morning though (: ).
