Day Nine, TODAY WE SEIZE THE SUMMIT AND MAKE IT OURS (Not really) and Locking Our Love to the Mountain

So today is the day we climb the mountain…..
Karleigh and I preparing ourselves of the bitter cold…. Yes, we get dramatic.

Before we knew it, it was time to go up!

On top of the mountain, it was cold and icy. But after we started moving, we got better. And the view helped a lot to make us feel better….

Going up the mouton in a cable car

 First steps outside!

 Us, enjoying the view

the lock that Karleigh and I got, the lady that engraved it with a heart. We are lovers forever. Interesting thing, we had to bargain to the saleslady, but she didn't budge. But later, when someone else wanted it for a lower price, she eventually gave in! Only if we waited and were a little more persistent…. Where we locked our lock

 Tiger Tree

Yes, that's an exit sign…. with an arrow pointing downwards. Just promote suicide, who don't you ?

Going down the cable car. Yes, we made it to the second tallest peak on the mountain. We succeeded! Now, we were on our way to the Yellow Mountain city. There, we stayed at the local hotel and had dinner in the town center. There was also a market place called Old Street, with all different kinds of knick-knacks. Karleigh and I got bracelets with our names in Chinese.

Guinea pigs, I think they weren't just for show, but for a meal…. *shudders*

The restaurant we ate at, the locals always eat here! Entrance to the markets.
Though we were in the middle of China, we still couldn't bargain prices as much as some other places in China. The struggle.
Tomorrow holds more adventures for us!
