China Day Two, Following the Tails of Two Teenagers

The next day we get up, and we see our view on the tenth floor of our hotel in Suzhou!

So that morning, we were on our way to a famous garden in Suzhou. It was a very pretty garden with trees and rocks. Outside of the garden was a little market where they sold many little gifts with street food, and it was all very pretty and interesting to look at. Karleigh and I were very excited to be out in the street in China!

This garden was especially made for the upper adminstrators during the Ming Dynasty, hence its name Humble Administrator's Garden. We learned a lot that day about the lucky chinese signs of a promising and happy life. Most of these signs were embedded into the ground, such as the crane that signifies longevity.
Some more rock climbing…….

Making our way through the garden ….
When we finally get out of the garden, we find ourself in another little flea market…..
Then, we headed out to our fancy lunch. First lunch in China!
Our next stop was the silk worm factory, where we saw how people make silk clothing today.

After that adventure, we went to take a boat ride on the Grand Canal, the largest canal in the world. It was quite pretty seeing everything around us. We went back to the place we had dinner last night, the Oriental Venice.

Though we enjoyed looking at the sights and relaxed by the waters, we teenagers got a little bored. So we spiced up the experience. We "emersed ourselves in the Chinese culture."We love greeting and being friendly (:

We also had a beautiful sunset to accompany us.
Also, this guy wouldn't stop following us. We were nice enough to remember him by taking a picture.

On our rememberable trip to China, Karleigh and I only thought it was must that we make this trip special. Not only were we in China, but we had to make a signifigant memory… With beer!
Okay, just kidding we never drank. We both hate drinking. We just wanted a photo.
Moving on, we headed to our cultural exchange event. Where Karleigh and I performed musical acts.

Tomorrow, we wake up to a new day! Thanks for reading about our adventures today!
